General Information about the European Arrest Warrant Project PDF Print E-mail
The primary goals of the European Arrest Warrant Project are to establish a knowledge centre on the European Arrest Warrant (EAW) and a database with information on the EAW, to exchange research, to identify best practices, to discuss and disseminate research results and to organise seminars, workshops and conferences. Furthermore its aim is to establish a pan-European network of national correspondents to report on the national implementation of EAW legislation and supply information on practice, commentaries and relevant case law.
This project is coordinated by the T.M.C. Asser Institute in The Hague and has received a grant under the AGIS programme of the European Commission.

Consortium partners in this project are: the European Criminal Bar Association (ECBA), the Max Planck Institut (Freiburg), University of Lund, University of Amsterdam, University of Maastricht, Ministry of Justice (Romania), Justice (NGO from London) and the National Library of Estonia.
